CBA and SF Pride Parade

This is in response to a Facebook post:

I don't like using the Message Board or Facebook to state my opinion but I feel I now have to do so because the Christian Bluegrass Association has been mentioned in a Facebook post by Lisa Burns.

I what to point out that the California Bluegrass Association gave us a booth at the FDF but never gave any financial support.  I was told by the board to never use the name CALIFORNIA BLUEGRASS ASSOCIATION and never let be implied that they supported us, nor were they for or against anything we stood for.  I was also asked not to use the initials "CBA".

No one was ever excluded from the Christian Bluegrass Association.  All people, religions and groups were welcome.

The Christian Bluegrass Association folded because of lack of support, not because of any divisions.

In my opinion the CBA Board should not have agreed to finance the float for the Pride Parade, and they should not allow the use of the name CALIFORNIA BLUEGRASS ASSOCIATION.

I don't like using this message board to give my opinion.  I will send a letter to the CBA Board asking them to reconsider and not support the Pride Parade in the future.  Also, the name CALIFORNIA BLUEGRASS ASSOCIATION should not be used.

I encourage everyone interested to also write to the board.
